The Assembler will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor of the Assembly department, and will be responsible for assembling electrical units, switchgear and other Powell products.
Powell is an engineered to order manufacturer of switchgear and electrical equipment for the power generation industry.
The Assembler ensures quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
Four 10s Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am

· Safety sensitive position in a temperature-controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities.
· Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., safety shoes, hard hats, bump caps, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.
·Must be able to work from all type of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders, etc.)
·Working at heights usually no higher than 20 feet in the air on an elevated structure using proper lift equipment and Fall Protection Equipment.
· Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs or step ladders
·Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction
·Continuous standing and walking
·Able to use upper extremities frequently, work with both arms above shoulders and use both arms at full length frequently.
· Must be able to meet physical lifting demand up to 50lbs.
·Frequent use of hand tools and power tools
