Assembler - 2nd Shift

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for an Assembler, located in Austin Texas.

This person performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Also determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units.

Along with making setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.

• Operate hand and power tools and materials
• Make minor setups of equipment in assigned area
• Review production data to identify potential areas of non-conformance
• May perform tests or quality checks on assembled units
• Interpret drawings and identify needed modification and improvements
• Work with direct supervision
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good MS Word, Excel and MRP skills
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical training preferred
• 1-2+ years production or related work experience required

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.

The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
