About the Role
Lead production planning, demand forecasting, material planning, inventory management, and customer delivery planning for a pump manufacturing business.
The role is intended for experienced professionals who work independently with general supervision.
Sales and Operations Planning
- Lead the monthly sales and operations planning process.
- Create annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales and production plans.
- Drive demand forecasting, forecast accuracy, and conversion of forecasts into executable manufacturing plans.
Production and Assembly Planning
- Develop and manage the master production schedule.
- Drive schedule adherence across machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch.
- Monitor capacity utilization, identify bottlenecks, and ensure production and delivery commitments are achieved.
- Ensure pump assembly kits and critical materials are ready before assembly begins.
Procurement and Project Planning
- Align purchase schedules with sales forecasts and assembly requirements.
