Asistant Research Scientist

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on product quality, market trends, and sustainability practices.
• Assist with experiment design, methodology documentation, report preparation, research presentations, and internal knowledge materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so research outcomes inform product development, quality assurance, and strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records and follow ethical and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research processes.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in scientific research methods, including data collection, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience or strong interest in food-sector quality control and assurance, with familiarity with BRC or organic certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets or statistical software and ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Effective written and verbal English communication for reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in hybrid on-site and remote settings.
• Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Food Science, Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced study is an advantage.
• Understanding of sustainability, food supply chains, or international trade is beneficial.
