ASIC Repair Technician (Board-Level) — Mining Facility, UAE

Qubite International supplies, deploys and operates ASIC mining and GPU compute hardware for clients across the UAE and internationally.

We are hiring a hands-on repair technician to work on-site at our mining facility, keeping client fleets hashing.

This is a bench role.

You will spend your day with a hot air station and a multimeter, not a spreadsheet.

• Diagnose and repair hash boards at component level — isolate dead chains and unstable voltage domains, replace chips, carry out BGA rework and reballing
• Repair and test control boards and PSUs; identify whether a fault is command, connectivity or power delivery before replacing anything
• Reflash firmware and recover vendor-locked units without masking underlying hardware faults
• Inspect and bench-test incoming client fleets, log findings by serial number, and flag units that should not be commissioned
• Deep clean and carry out preventive maintenance on air-cooled units; service fans, pumps and filters on hydro and immersion loops
• Maintain accurate repair records per machine, manage spare parts stock, and escalate units that need RMA
• Work with operations to hit client plug-in dates

What you need

• 2+ years of board-level electronics repair — ASIC miners, mobile/laptop logic boards, industrial control boards or similar
• Confident with hot air rework, reflow, microsoldering and BGA work
• Comfortable with a multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply and thermal camera
• Able to read schematics and work from board diagrams
• Methodical about documentation — we track every repair by serial number
• Working English

Helpful, not essential

• Direct Antminer, Whatsminer, Avalon or Innosilicon experience
• Hydro or immersion cooling systems
• UAE driving licence
• Already in the UAE with transferable status

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates sit a practical bench test.

You will be given a faulty hash board and asked to isolate the fault and talk us through your reasoning.
