Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
- Identify asbestos containing materials and perform risk assessments
- Prepare asbestos registers and management plans
- Review removal methodologies and work plans
- Supervise asbestos removal and remediation activities
- Perform air monitoring, clearance inspections, and reoccupation support
- Ensure contractor compliance, site safety, and quality control
- Oversee waste handling, transportation, and disposal compliance
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, laboratories, and regulators
Requirements
- Recognised asbestos qualifications
- Proven experience in asbestos surveying, risk assessment, removal planning, contractor supervision, and regulatory compliance
- Experience delivering projects for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, infrastructure developments, government entities, or major construction programmes
- Experience in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or the wider GCC region
