Key Responsibilities
Administer and support IBM i (AS400) environments including OS upgrades, PTFs, LPARs, storage, and performance optimization.
Lead AS400 environment segregation, migration, cloning, and infrastructure build activities.
Manage IBM i networking including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, firewall rules, routing, and SSL certificates.
Establish and validate connectivity between IBM i, JDE World, cloud platforms, middleware, and third-party systems.
Execute migration, cutover, rollback, and go-live activities supporting business separation programs.
Configure and support HA/DR solutions, replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.
Manage user access, security policies, authorization lists, auditing, and compliance controls.
Support interface integrations including EDI, banking systems, APIs, Sterling, and InfoConnect.
Drive incident, problem, change, release, and capacity management activities.
Own infrastructure sizing, network readiness, migration runbooks, cutover plans, DR documentation, and hypercare support.
