Role overview
The role is for a Senior AI Engineer designing, developing, and evaluating advanced AI and machine learning systems.
The work focuses on large language models, Transformer architectures, federated learning, and privacy-preserving machine learning.
The engineer will collaborate with cryptography and security researchers to turn research into scalable systems and prototypes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build scalable LLM training, fine-tuning, and inference pipelines.
- Develop federated and distributed learning systems using differential privacy and secure aggregation.
- Integrate multi-party computation and homomorphic encryption into AI and machine learning workflows.
- Lead proofs of concept and benchmarks for model quality, communication overhead, and privacy trade-offs.
- Translate research into robust, maintainable software prototypes.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain strong software engineering and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional or research experience in machine learning engineering or applied AI.
