Job Summary

  • The Art Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons that foster creativity, artistic skills, and self expression among students.
  • The teacher will create a positive learning environment, encourage participation in artistic activities, and support the school's educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver art lessons for students as per the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Teach various forms of visual arts, including drawing, painting, sketching, sculpture, craftwork, and mixed media.
  • Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities and age groups.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching techniques into art education where appropriate.

Student Assessment

  • Assess students' artistic progress through projects, assignments, and practical activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress and development.

Classroom Management

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating art classroom environment.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of art materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Promote discipline and positive behavior in accordance with school policies.

Co Curricular Activities

  • Organize and supervise art exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and cultural events.
  • Prepare students for inter school art competitions and school celebrations.
  • Support school projects, displays, bulletin boards, and event decorations.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Attend staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student growth.
  • Stay updated with current trends and best practices in art education.

Pay

  • QAR 3,000 QAR 3,500 per hour
