Responsibilities
- Tactically execute strategic plans to grow annual sales to meet company assigned goals
- Proactively promote and support all sales activities within the region
- Collaborate with Ingersoll Rand sister companies where market synergies exist
- Manage existing sales channels within the assigned region, including setting sales targets, performance reviews, and corrective actions
- Provide technical product training and sales tools training for all channel partners
- Conduct sales calls with channel partners to support their sales efforts
- Collect and report key information on marketplace changes and competitive landscape
- Maintain a 'Report Card' via Distributor Dashboard tool for all channel partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience and training)
- 5+ years of experience selling pumps and related process equipment
- 5+ years of experience in sales to end users through manufacturers' reps and independent distributors
- 1+ years of experience related to chemical processes, chemical injection and chemical treatment using metering pumps/systems
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of techniques to be successful in working with specifying engineers
- Self starter with high self confidence and capable of working with others
- Results oriented; able to present benefits and close orders
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Comfortable delivering public presentations

Job Overview
- The Milton Roy Canada Sales Manager possesses a high technical aptitude and is accomplished in influencing brand preference, along with ability to articulate the value proposition part of the solution selling process.
- Territory responsibility covers Canada and NW US States across multiple end markets, including chemical processing, oil & gas, general industrial, and water/wastewater treatment.
- The Area Sales Manager is accomplished in both selling through independent channels as well as direct, and experienced in managing EPC’s, OEM’s and Key Accounts.
Responsibilities
- Tactically execute strategic plans to grow annual sales to meet company assigned goals.
- Proactively promote and support all sales activities within the region.
- Collaborate with Ingersoll Rand sister companies where market synergies exist.
- Knowledgeable with assigned target markets, products and industries.
- Bring added value to the process from one’s own energy and ambition to succeed.
- Make recommendations relating to potential channel partner changes and market segmentation as required to meet financial objectives.
- Management of existing sales channels within the assigned region to encompass the establishment of sales targets, submission of performance reviews, monthly sales reports, development of regional sales strategies and supervision of corrective action measures.
- Provide technical product training & sales tools training as required for all channel partners.
- Provide data book / policy training as required with all channel partners.
- Conduct sales calls with channel partners assigning call objectives to support their efforts in growing sales in their assigned segment & region.
- Collect and report key information relating to changes in the marketplace with emphasis on competitive landscape.
- Maintain a 'Report Card' via Distributor Dashboard tool for all channel partners updating quarterly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; preferably a degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering (Candidates with high mechanical aptitude along with substantial experience and formal post graduate training in disciplines related to the technology and target customer bases will be considered).
- 5+ years of experience selling pumps and related process equipment.
- 5+ years of experience in sales to end users through manufacturers’ reps and independent distributors.
- 1+ years of experience related to chemical processes, chemical injection and chemical treatment using metering pumps/systems. Knowledge of industrial Mixing technologies would be advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay Range
- The pay range for this role is $120,000 $150,000.
