Responsibilities
- Lead the Healthful Solutions strategy across the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye
- Own and manage a portfolio of customer and distributor accounts across the Middle East
- Identify new sales opportunities and expand existing business through customer projects and strategic commercial activities
- Manage the formulation of food and beverage applications based on customer briefs
- Initiate and drive customer projects with existing and new customers
- Lead annual negotiations covering pricing, payment and delivery terms
- Collaborate closely with technical, marketing and regulatory teams
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- Strong commercial or sales experience in food ingredients
- Proven track record of delivering projects and driving growth in specialty markets
- Experience with sugar reduction or plant based ingredients
- Solid knowledge of food processing, ingredient functionality, formulation, and ingredient interactions
- Fluency in English
- Arabic proficiency is an advantage

What You Will Do
- Lead the Healthful Solutions strategy across the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, setting the direction and enabling execution in partnership with regional sales teams.
- Own and manage a portfolio of customer and distributor accounts across the Middle East, with direct responsibility for pipeline development, revenue delivery and business growth.
- Identify new sales opportunities and expand existing business through customer projects, strategic commercial activities and strong relationship management.
- Manage the formulation of food and beverage applications based on customer briefs, demonstrating the value of sugar reduction, plant based functional and texturising specialty solutions.
- Initiate and drive customer projects with existing and new customers, ensuring that project targets are met and that customer briefs are received and validated in line with Ingredion requirements.
- Lead annual negotiations covering pricing, payment and delivery terms, while building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across relevant functions and seniority levels.
- Collaborate closely with technical, marketing and regulatory teams to bring forward new ideas, act as the voice of the customer, accelerate recently launched products, identify emerging trends and stay informed about GCC regulatory developments.
What You Will Bring
- A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- Strong commercial or sales experience in food ingredients, with a proven track record of delivering projects and driving growth in specialty markets
- Experience with sugar‑reduction or plant‑based ingredients (ideally proteins), along with solid knowledge of food processing, ingredient functionality, formulation, and ingredient interactions
- Strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for sales, account management, and business development
- Fluency in English, Arabic proficiency is an advantage
