Amazon is seeking an Inbound Area Manager for a fulfillment center.
The role focuses on safety, quality, customer experience, and department productivity.
Responsibilities
- Review work forecasts and determine daily productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
- Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and operate an efficient shift.
- Support safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and apply Lean tools.
- Manage employees and their performance.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
Preferred qualifications
- Two or more years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques.
