Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Retail Area Manager to lead multiple cannabis retail locations across Ohio. The ideal candidate will be a proven multi-unit retail leader with a deep understanding of compliance, operational excellence, and customer experience in a highly regulated industry. As a key member of the retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving store performance, building high-performing teams, and ensuring operational consistency and compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of multiple dispensaries within the assigned region.
- Ensure all locations are compliant with local, state, and federal cannabis regulations.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Store Managers and key in-store leadership.
- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews to drive accountability.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and professional growth.
- Analyze sales data, KPIs, and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Set and monitor performance goals for stores and teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to execute local campaigns and product launches.
- Champion a consistent and exceptional customer experience across locations.
- Implement feedback systems to improve service and satisfaction.
- Partner with compliance teams to conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions.
