Safety Leaders is looking for a

Gulf Representative And Regional Business Development Manager

to build our commercial presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This is not a traditional sales role.

We are looking for someone with real credibility in shipyards, offshore fabrication, coating, maintenance, welding, or industrial execution environments — someone who can open doors, follow up physically, and move real opportunities forward in the region.

Success in this role means establishing Safety Leaders as a relevant player in the Gulf market, gaining access to the right industrial environments, and converting interest into pilot projects, qualification discussions, and commercial processes.

This role will be central to our growth in laser-based surface preparation and laser welding.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
  • Build relationships with shipyards, offshore fabrication companies, industrial contractors, and selected OEM-related accounts
  • Arrange and lead physical meetings with decision-makers in fabrication, coating, QA/QC, maintenance, yard operations, and business development
  • Follow up demonstrations, pilot projects, qualification discussions, and commercial processes
  • Represent Safety Leaders locally with credibility, speed, and strong execution
  • Coordinate between customers, Safety Leaders management, and technical teams
  • Assess which work scopes and customer environments are best suited for our solutions
  • Contribute to shaping the right market strategy and local presence in the region

Qualifications

  • Experience from one or more of the following areas: shipyard operations, offshore fabrication, coating, blasting, industrial maintenance, welding, or other relevant industrial services
  • Experience in business development, sales, or commercial follow-up in industrial markets
  • Strong understanding of how decisions are made in shipyard, offshore, and industrial environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Regional experience from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or the wider Gulf is a strong advantage
  • Existing network in yards, EPC, offshore, or industrial environments is a major advantage
  • Ability to combine commercial drive with operational and technical understanding
  • Comfortable working independently and being physically present with customers
  • This is a role for someone who creates trust quickly, understands execution reality, and is more comfortable in real industrial environments than behind a desk.
