JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Champions Craft Academy Architecture & Construction Instructor
JOB GOAL
The Architecture & Construction Instructor will create a safe academic environment that encourages student engagement, while effectively delivering the program curriculum. As such, the instructor is expected to plan, organize, and teach in a manner that produces student competency in the discipline area.
RESPONSIBLE TO: School Principal
QUALIFICATIONS
- ● A high school diploma or General Education Equivalent (GED).
- ● Actively performed work in the construction, repair, inspection or design as they pertain to the residential, commercial or industrial industry for a minimum of three (3) years.
- ● Extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction trade and safety standards related to construction.
- ● Good communication skills.
- ● Basic computer skills demonstrating effective use of Microsoft Office.
- ● Ability to complete objectives without direct supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- ● Maintain a professional demeanor with all students, coworkers, and community members.
- ● Provide excellent classroom instruction through positive and inspiring learning experiences for all students using a variety of teaching methods and making every learning situation relevant to career preparation.
