Role Overview
Join KEO International Consultants as an Architectural Inspector based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Ensure that construction work complies with architectural plans, building codes, regulations, safety standards, contract documents, and specifications.
The role focuses on on-site inspection, quality monitoring, documentation, and technical issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Attend contractor Inspection Requests and take timely appropriate action.
- Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practice.
- Report non-compliant contractor work to stakeholders for appropriate action.
- Monitor construction quality and site safety, including health and environmental issues and risk assessments.
- Maintain daily activity records and progress photographs for inspection.
- Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and non-conformance reports when required.
- Coordinate architectural work with other disciplines and provide technical input on site issues.
Qualifications
- At least 9 years of work experience.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture.
