Architectural Engineer

Company Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Translate design concepts and project requirements into technically coordinated solutions.
• Prepare and review design development and construction documentation.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Develop and maintain BIM models and coordinate architectural elements with other disciplines.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve design issues, clashes, inconsistencies, and constructability concerns.
• Assist with material selections, schedules, specifications, and architectural details.
• Incorporate client comments into revisions and maintain organized design records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design.
• Experience in a design consultancy, engineering consultancy, or architectural design environment.
• Hands-on experience preparing architectural drawings and design documentation.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating designs with MEP and structural disciplines.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration or classification, where applicable.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and design standards is preferred.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination is preferred.
• Experience with projects in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, and design quality are expected.
