Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed Building Information Models (BIM) for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various elements into the BIM model and resolve design conflicts
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports
- Perform analyses and simulations using the BIM model to assess building performance, energy efficiency, and other factors
- Use BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to create, modify, and manage models, and stay updated with new tools and techniques
- Ensure the BIM model complies with project standards, codes, and regulations
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM processes and software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Must have worked on UAE, Saudi or Qatar BIM Projects in the past
- Must have experience working with consultants or architects
- Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and a strong portfolio of BIM projects
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, drafting, and visualization
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in model creation and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to the BIM model and design integration
- Understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction practices
