Role overview
Young Engineering Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Architect (Design) for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai.
The architect will develop projects from concept design through detailed design and authority approval for new-build and extension projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
- Prepare design packages for new construction, renovation, extension, and alteration projects.
- Translate client briefs into practical, creative, and technically compliant solutions.
- Prepare drawings, plans, elevations, sections, layouts, schedules, and details.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other specialist consultants.
- Manage design coordination and resolve technical and architectural issues.
- Submit documents to UAE authorities, coordinate approvals, and respond to comments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE codes, regulations, planning requirements, and authority guidelines.
- Review existing buildings and site conditions for alteration and extension designs.
- Participate in client, consultant, and authority meetings.
- Monitor deliverables and maintain documentation and revision control.
