Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons to learners at various proficiency levels using modern, student centered teaching methods
- Prepare lesson plans, teach classes, assess learner progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate aspects of Arabic culture and, where relevant, Islamic Studies into the curriculum to support holistic language learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to align teaching materials with organizational objectives
- Participate in meetings, training, and occasional school activities or events
Requirements
- Language Teaching and Teaching skills to design and deliver effective Arabic instruction
- Lesson Planning skills to create structured, level appropriate learning materials and activities
- Communication skills to clearly explain concepts, engage learners, and collaborate with colleagues
- Islamic Studies knowledge to incorporate relevant cultural and religious context where appropriate
- Proficiency in Arabic (native or near native) and strong command of English for instruction and coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arabic Language, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification is an advantage
- Experience teaching Arabic in classroom or training settings, ideally in diverse or multicultural environments
- Ability to manage classrooms, adapt to different learning styles, and use educational technology effectively

Role Description
- The Arabic Teacher role at Alrah is a full time, on site position based in Abu Dhabi.
- The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, using modern, student centered teaching methods.
- Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback.
- The role also involves integrating aspects of Arabic culture and, where relevant, Islamic Studies into the curriculum to support holistic language learning.
