Role Overview
The Gym Receptionist manages the front desk, greets members, handles administrative tasks, and serves as the first point of contact for gym service inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and visitors, handle check-ins, and explain gym services, classes, and programs.
- Answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and maintain member records and databases.
- Assist the gym supervisor with member questions about gym equipment.
- Process memberships, renewals, payments, and cash or card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming reception area and stock necessary supplies.
- Monitor gym access, verify memberships, and enforce gym policies and rules.
- Work with gym staff and the manager to resolve member concerns and support daily operations.
Requirements
- Two years of gym receptionist experience is required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Computer literacy for member accounts, scheduling software, and payment processing is required.
- Arabic language ability is preferred.
Employment and Pay
- This is a full-time position.
- Pay is AED 3,500 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
