We are currently recruiting 3 Apprentices to join our Lorient team in Newton Abbot. Lorient is a leading manufacturer of fire and smoke sealing systems, recognised for quality and innovation.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join us in the following areas:

Support improvements in assembly and primary processes

Assist with automation initiatives

Apply engineering principles such as Flow, TAKT, and Value Analysis

Contribute to reducing operational costs and improving efficiency

Manage customer orders and enquiries

Deliver a professional, efficient, and solution-focused service

Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

Support our commitment to excellence in customer experience

As an apprentice, you will:

Learn from experienced colleagues and industry experts

Develop role-specific technical and professional skills

Gain valuable workplace experience alongside formal training

We are looking for individuals who:

Have a genuine interest in their chosen field

Are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn

Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grades 9–4 in Maths and English

Are self-motivated with strong organisational skills

Demonstrate logical and methodical problem-solving abilities

Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
