Apprentice Industrial Electrician

Your Skills and Qualifications: Associate degree in industrial or electrical/Mechanical Technology with a related field or equivalent experience.

Min 1 year or depending on the Provincial Legislative requirements and CSA standards. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have and maintain a clean driving record, including a valid driver’s license. Must be willing, fit, and able to work at heights/climb ladders/walkways. Must possess a good computer, written. Maintain required certification for the role Journeyman Electrician, Millwright or other. Requirement to maintain compliance with all regulatory trainings (e.g. working at heights regulations) Physical requirements Must be willing and physically able to complete all required tasks , fit, and able to work at heights/climb ladders/walkways. Must possess a good computer, written Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. less frequently on a daily basis. Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. and up to 100lbs on a rare basis with an assisted devices. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. on a rare basis. Frequent working at heights Climbing large numbers of stairs and ladders to reach work location. Need for good balance, ability to stoop/crouch, and work overhead. Pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling as required. Frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights as work takes place outdoors as well as indoors at industrial customer sites.
