The successful applicant will assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of underground mobile mining equipment. Working under the guidance of experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians, apprentices will develop the skills and knowledge required to safely perform maintenance and repairs on structural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems while progressing through their apprenticeship.
Registered Apprentice Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (or equivalent recognized trade).
Applicants at all levels of their apprenticeship are encouraged to apply.
Previous underground/surface mining experience is considered an asset.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer, and written skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
