About your team
At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.
We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. About your role
- We’re looking for people that are ready to dive headfirst into the world of Gas Engineering. Age? Gender? Background? Just numbers and stories that make you, you. We’re here for your drive, your passion, and that fire in your eyes.
- At our award-winning academies, you’ll gain the knowledge, hands-on skills, and recognised qualifications to become a first-class Gas Engineer – the go-to expert who keeps homes warm and safe.
- From day one, you’ll learn alongside experienced engineers, mastering everything from servicing and maintaining to repairing and upgrading central heating systems. You’ll be at the heart of delivering energy-efficient solutions that make a real difference to families every day.
- This isn’t just another job – it’s a practical, hands-on role where you’ll build skills for life. Yes, it’s challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring homes stay warm and comfortable, and kettles keep boiling.
