About the Role
Join TD's Wealth AI/ML Practice as an Applied Machine Learning Scientist focused on Generative AI and agentic capabilities.
Work across problem discovery, solution design, and implementation using agentic AI, Generative AI, traditional machine learning, pro-code, and low-code tools.
What You'll Do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for customer segmentation, acquisition, pricing, and lifetime value use cases.
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and define success metrics with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evaluate AI and machine learning approaches and build production solutions.
- Conduct model evaluation, A/B testing, and monitoring for performance, fairness, and stability.
- Communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
- Stay current with machine learning research and bring innovative approaches into production.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience applying machine learning to real-world business problems.
- Proficiency in Python and key machine learning libraries.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, feature engineering, and model interpretability.
- Hands-on production experience with model deployment and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience delivering results in cross-functional teams.
- An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced technical STEM degree is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Generative AI or large language models and their practical applications.
- Familiarity with causal inference or reinforcement learning.
Pay Details
- The stated pay range is $105,500–$125,000 CAD and includes a temporary market premium; the compensation cadence is not specified.

- The listed work location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with 37.5 hours stated.
