The Applied AI/ML Scientist designs, develops, tests, and optimizes AI/ML solutions for defined business problems.
The role emphasizes applied modeling, experimentation, and translation of advanced AI research into scalable production solutions.
The scientist works independently on prototypes and partners with engineering teams to integrate solutions into broader systems.
Core responsibilities
- Map business problems to appropriate AI/ML approaches with stakeholders and product teams.
- Design experiments and establish success criteria aligned with business goals.
- Develop production-ready AI/ML solutions that scale and deliver measurable business impact.
- Prototype, evaluate, and iterate to improve accuracy, generalization, interpretability, and business impact.
- Develop end-to-end solutions from data ingestion through inference and integrate them into production workflows.
