Role overview
Provide practical design solutions and support documentation based on technical specifications and site survey information.
Work across electric and pneumatic actuator ranges to develop technically sound and commercially viable customer solutions.
Interact with other sites and business areas to ensure designs meet required criteria.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret customer specifications, datasheets, and P&IDs to select and size actuators, gearboxes, and control panel accessories.
- Engineer and specify control panel builds and review wiring schematics, terminal layouts, and control philosophy.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, pre-qualification documentation, and compliance or deviation schedules.
- Respond to customer queries and process purchase orders in support of delivery requirements.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics, Electrical and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Solid mechanical or electrical engineering background with knowledge of actuators, valve automation, or control panel engineering.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, quotations, or pre-qualification documents in industrial or process automation.
