Apply knowledge of fastening and assembly processes to solve customer manufacturing challenges.
Troubleshoot and support systems involving:
PLCs and factory controls
Electromechanical systems
Servo motors and motion profiles
Industrial sensors
Pneumatic systems and logic

Software and communication protocols

Create and contribute to application notes, technical documentation, training materials, and demonstrations.
Help establish and improve Applications Engineering processes, tools, and best practices.
Contribute to the development of technical training programs and onboarding materials for future Applications Engineers.
Share technical knowledge and mentor other engineers as the team grows.
Identify opportunities to improve the consistency, scalability, and effectiveness of Mountz's customer-facing technical support.
This position is designed for an application engineer who wants to grow beyond an individual contributor role.
As the Applications Engineering organization expands, the successful candidate will have opportunities to:
Take ownership of strategic applications initiatives.
Mentor and train newer Applications Engineers.
Lead customer integration projects and technical programs.
Help establish Applications Engineering processes and KPIs.
Take on increasing responsibility for team coordination and development.
Potentially grow into an Applications Engineering Manager role as the organization and business needs evolve.
Prior management experience is not required . Demonstrated technical leadership, initiative, communication skills, and the ability to develop others will be highly valued.
