The Applications Engineer I provides technical support and engineering expertise in the application of Starline products for customer projects.
Working closely with senior engineers and leadership, the employee develops busway system layouts and solutions based on customer requirements, specifications, and project drawings.
Responsibilities
include creating technical documentation, supporting product testing and certification activities, collaborating with certification agencies, and serving as a technical resource for both customers and sales teams.
The Applications Engineer I also provides product application, installation, and troubleshooting support through a combination of remote and onsite customer engagement.
This position is suited to an early-career Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating with customers, and working at the intersection of engineering, technology, and business.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.
Internship experience, electrical design experience, or exposure to power distribution systems is preferred.
