Applications Developer

Introduction:

The Customer serves as the focal point for coordinating, planning, developing, supporting, and executing cyber research and tasking. Customer requires an applications developer to perform Agile based Operations & Maintenance (O&M), for a Tasking Portal housed in a Cloud environment. The tasking portal allows for end users to input requests and specific data for data collection. Work Requirements: The Contractor shall perform day to day tasks such as bug fixes and enhancement releases. The Contractor shall gather and assist in the preparation of requirements based on customer needs. The Contractor shall analyze requirements and translate them to both user stories and development tasks. The Contractor shall prepare documentation such as program, user, and security documentation. The Contractor shall develop and maintain software applications, including web applications and user interfaces. The Contractor shall develop in a cloud environment. The Contractor shall enhance software to improve efficiency.

Demonstrated experience with establishing data, performance, and communications objectives for prototype systems.

Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer’s Cloud environment.

Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer’s data architecture.

Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer’s application environment.

Demonstrated experience with Back-End SecDevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated experience with Back-End Container technologies such as Docker.

Demonstrated experience with Front-End UX design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design.

This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
