Excellent technical, organizational, problem solving, multi-tasking skills with the ability to set priorities, co-ordinate a diverse workload and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Knowledge and understanding of systems and network hardware and software such as, Ethernet, IP, routers, switches, and network management tools (e.g. virus protection and server monitoring), multi-function devices, and printers.

Ability to lift/move equipment/boxes up to 30 kg.

Ability to support and/or report to various work sites.

General knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act and other relevant legislation. Knowledge of social assistance business practices and delivery systems, such as SAMS may be considered an asset.

Ability to work effectively within a team setting and/or project environment.

If selected for a temporary position, permanent Local 79 employees will retain their permanent status. At the end of the temporary assignment, Local 79 employees will return to their permanent base job classification.

If selected for a temporary position, temporary and part-time employees will be reassigned to this temporary position.

Work location reflects what is known at the time of posting.

An employee's reporting relationship and/or work location may change due to operational reasons and in accordance with their Collective Agreement.
