Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Application Engineer with strong Java development experience and frontend expertise in Angular. The ideal candidate will be a proactive engineer who enjoys working across the technology stack, collaborating closely with product managers, technical leads, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to business-critical platforms that directly support Vanguard's growth objectives across Europe and the UK while working within a modern cloud-based technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
- Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and support modern web applications using Angular.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, and Engineers to deliver business solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Support cloud-native application development and deployment within AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization, third-party integrations, and continuous improvements.
