Application Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide applications engineering, technical, and pricing support, including technical presentations and site walkdowns.
• Size and select control valves and other Flow Controls products, review specifications, and prepare deviation lists.
• Prepare accurate customer quotations and conduct technical sales calls and order closeouts.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and solutions for severe-service applications and complex products.
• Present technical recommendations and follow up on quotations until purchase orders are secured.
• Verify purchase orders, process compliant orders, and coordinate post-order documentation with internal teams.
• Maintain records in Emerson systems, SharePoint, and CRM platforms.
• Follow trade compliance, quality management, and ethics procedures and stay current with products and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience in the process control industry, including control valve products and applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
