Role Overview
The Application Engineer will build high-quality software, support business application users, and provide user training for the business application.
The role operates in an automotive dealership environment involving financial systems, dealership workflows, and business application support.
Responsibilities
- Understand general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, tax, asset management, and budgeting setups.
- Assist with periodic financial reconciliations and support internal and external audits.
- Analyze dealership workflows across sales, aftersales, and accounting to optimize processes.
- Resolve data-integrity and transaction-flow issues across financial modules.
- Use accounting ERP systems such as Autoline (Keyloop) or similar automotive DMS platforms.
- Perform data extraction and analytics using AI tools, financial reporting with BI dashboards, and work with database structures.
- Support business application users and provide user training.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in application engineering is required.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred.
