Job Summary
The Applications Developer will oversee the entire life cycle of a software application, creating the design, coding it, and testing the product for functionality and errors, while ensuring that user needs, performance requirements and security standards are met.
This position is a 12-month contract, Hybrid role based out of New York city.
Responsibilities
- Supports and assists senior developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals
- Works under guidance from senior software developers.
- Assists with repairing coding problems.
- Provides technical support to internal clients on existing problems, escalates as appropriate.
- Monitors trends and results from technical support calls to advises senior team members on performance of existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering, Master’s degree preferred
- 10 years of application development experience
- 5-10 years of experience in the Oracle EPM space. Knowledge of Oracle EPM suite
- TRCS (all aspects including administration, workflow/task manager, business rules, Data Management, Reporting, SmartView
