Introduction
The role is part of IBM Consulting, where developers collaborate with clients and partners on hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.
The position focuses on delivering secure, efficient cloud-based application solutions.
Role and responsibilities
- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns.
- Integrate front-end, back-end, and middleware components and persist data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
- Apply DevOps methodologies and tools for efficient development, testing, and deployment.
- Work with senior practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments.
- Focus on uptime, access control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
- Integrate Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and database technologies.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Exposure to developing and deploying cloud-based applications using microservices and integrated application layers is required.
- Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, CSS3, and HTML5 is required.
- Experience with back-end technologies including Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, and Groovy is required.
- Exposure to DevOps methodologies and tools is required.
