Role purpose
Define, govern, and evolve enterprise application architecture.
Ensure applications, integrations, data exchanges, and technology choices support business capabilities and digital strategy.
Provide architecture direction for application modernization, solution design, and portfolio rationalization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application portfolios, architecture views, reference architectures, and lifecycle roadmaps.
- Assess application fit, health, technical debt, duplication, integration dependencies, and business-capability alignment.
- Define target-state architecture, rationalization recommendations, and transition roadmaps.
- Review solution designs, architecture documents, and non-functional requirements against enterprise standards.
- Work with solution, data, infrastructure, security, and integration teams on coherent end-to-end designs.
- Establish traceability across business capabilities, processes, applications, data, interfaces, and technology components.
- Support modernization, cloud adoption, package selection, and migration initiatives.
- Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, exception management, standards, and repository quality.
