We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical leadership for Java and API-based solutions, with a focus on scalable, secure and resilient service design.
• Define and review solution architecture, application design and integration patterns across distributed systems and microservices.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams, supporting design decisions, technical problem solving and delivery planning.
• Drive engineering best practice across code quality, testing, automation, observability and release readiness.
• Review and optimise API performance, security controls, data access patterns and operational stability in production environments.
• Support impact assessments, technical design reviews and governance checkpoints for change initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, infrastructure, support and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, reusable patterns and knowledge sharing across the wider engineering community.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot and service-based application development.
• Deep understanding of API architecture, including Representational State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and integration design principles.
• Good working knowledge of cloud platforms and services, particularly Amazon Web Services, and their application in enterprise solution design.
• Strong understanding of data persistence and database technologies, including MongoDB and relational databases such as Oracle.
