Animal Facility Manager

Overview

• Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the facility on a day to day, month to month basis, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to ensure the smooth running of all incoming and outgoing animals and must have proven skills and experience is the following areas:
• Minimum 2 years working experience as a General/Customer Service/Office/Operations Manager managing a team of at least 4.
• Ability to follow procedures and processes in line with animal handling and other regulations.
• Qualifications in management, or related field with a clear understanding of business management and leadership principles.
• Shift planning and execution
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and time management skills.
• Ability to analyse processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
• High standard of computer skills and ability to work proficiently in Microsoft office and in-house systems.
• Experienced in working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• To represent the company on daily basis with our partners and clients both locally and internationally.
• ***This is a hands-on animal handling role; the successful candidate must be comfortable around all animals and full training relating to animal handling will be provided***.
• All positions are available for immediate start however candidates will not be discounted due to notice period commitments.
• ***Please note that we operate 24 hours a day for 365 days of the year which we cover by a system of shifts.
• All applicants will be required to work to the shifts rotas including nights, weekends and Government holidays.***
