Anesthesia Technician - OR

Provides support to anesthesia providers under the direction of an anesthesiologist or CRNA. Maintains anesthesia supplies and anesthesia equipment.

Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.

Stocks all anesthesia supplies in the operating room, L&D, and all anesthesia supply rooms

Maintains equipment as anesthesia machines, ventilators, cardiac monitors, fluid warmers, end-tidal CO2 and pulse oximeters.

Assists with patient care

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Certification for Surgical Technology with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

Competent in at least 3 specialty areas.
