WLTX-TV C a TEGNA CBS affiliate in Columbia has an amazing opportunity for a creative, innovative, and enterprising Anchor who is an excellent on-camera communicator to help serve the needs of our audience and community. We are looking for a journalist who excels at both accountability reporting and breaking news. We are seeking candidates who will trailblaze the future of news, find and defend the truth, and tell the stories of our community. This anchor should be someone who is comfortable asking tough but fair questions. This journalist must be able to work with producers to develop smart and engaging newscasts. We are looking for someone who understands the “why” behind stories and excels at impact journalism. The Anchor is a newsroom leader who will be one of the faces of the station in charge of developing contacts and relationships in the community enabling them to create and present unique, compelling, and innovative stories of interest.

Current driver's license and ability to operate news gathering vehicle to and from various locations is required.
