Role overview
Support analytical engineering activities for process gas chromatograph and hydrocarbon analytical scopes.
Improve engineering processes, support material procurement, and drive standardization across documentation and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Review project documentation and provide technical guidance for analytical applications.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project specifications and customer requirements.
- Support procurement of analytical system materials and components.
- Recommend project execution improvements and collaborate with integration centers.
- Build communication channels with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage and support COE Lead Engineers on project execution activities.
- Oversee analytical project engineering, design, and documentation.
- Analyze execution gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure engineering documents and deliverables are standardized and high quality.
- Monitor submission schedules and maintain project status reports and KPI records.
- Support resource planning and recommend adjustments to optimize delivery.
- Adhere to organizational Health, Safety & Environment policies.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in an analytical systems or analytical engineering environment.
- Knowledge of analytical sampling system design, liquid analyzers, gas analyzers, and gas chromatograph systems.
- Experience with analytical products, systems, and engineering documentation.
- Strong understanding of project engineering, technical documentation, and customer specifications.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading or guiding engineering teams within a project environment.
- Knowledge of analytical system integration and commissioning requirements.
- Experience supporting procurement and supplier management activities.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting customers in the Middle East and Africa region.
