Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division
- Perform month end entries, allocations, accruals, and reconciliations
- Conduct in depth financial analysis and variance analysis against budget
- Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
- Prepare cash flow reports, MBR deck, and churn reports
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Support financial integration during acquisitions and system migrations
- Assist with tax filings and annual reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Advanced Excel skills and proven data analytics capabilities
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English
- Hands on experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus

Description
- Lighthouse Software Group is an operating group of Valsoft Corporation, a global acquirer and operator of vertical market software businesses.
- We are seeking a results driven Sr Financial Analyst to help lead the next stage of growth for a software company in Valsoft’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
- Ensure all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and regulations.
- Participation in audit engagements and compliance requirements, including IFRS transition.
- Month end entries and allocations: GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, salary and department cost allocations.
- Manage bonuses/commissions accruals and AFDA provisions for bad debts.
- Prepare payroll reports and tax/transfer pricing entries.
- Finalize monthly entries, reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.
- Analyze P&L and prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Review results with controller insights, improve processes, and document financial procedures.
- Conduct in depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance against budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
- Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and regularly update forecasts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Hands on experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and proven data analytics capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, data visualization).
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential.
