Position Summary

  • The Inventory Replenishment Analyst is part of the Business Intelligence, Replenishment, and Supply Planning team.
  • Responsible for supporting inventory availability, replenishment planning, supply planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis.
  • Works closely with Sales, Product Development, Warehouse Operations, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels across distribution centers and recommend replenishment and supply planning actions.
  • Maintain lean weeks of stock while minimizing stockout risk.
  • Review inventory availability against customer forecasts and sales orders.
  • Maintain knowledge of factory minimum order quantities, production timing, and transit lead times.
  • Factor in full replenishment timeline including production, transit, and arrival.
  • Identify when MOQs, demand levels, or lead times create excess inventory or stockout risk.
  • Recommend inventory and replenishment strategies balancing demand, turns, and financial objectives.
  • Analyze shortages, overages, slow moving items, obsolete inventory, and discrepancies.
  • Support SKU rationalization analysis.
  • Analyze historical sales, demand, seasonality, and trends to support forecast adjustments.
  • Identify gaps between forecasted and actual demand.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Operations to balance inventory across distribution centers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies

  • Experience in inventory replenishment, supply planning, demand planning, supply chain analysis, business intelligence, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate findings into recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, BI tools, or inventory management systems is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of inventory and supply planning concepts (turns, weeks of stock, stockouts, lead times, MOQs, etc.).

Success Measures

  • Improved inventory turns, weeks of stock, forecast accuracy, and inventory availability.
  • Reduced stockouts, shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete inventory.
  • Better alignment between demand, MOQs, lead times, and inventory objectives.
  • Improved SKU productivity, reporting accuracy, inventory integrity, and business visibility.

Pay

  • Pay: From CAD 80,000.00 per year.
