ALFACONSEIL.CA is seeking a Senior Business Applications Analyst to configure, optimize, and support JD Edwards (JDE) business systems. The role requires 8+ years of business analysis experience with 5+ years in JDE, bilingual French/English, and expertise in Distribution or Finance modules.

Responsibilities
- Configure and tailor JD Edwards (JDE) modules based on business requirements
- Document and map business processes as well as testing scenarios
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of business solutions
- Analyze applications, integrations, and data recovery mechanisms
- Participate in strategic projects as a team member or functional lead
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define financial, operational, and business requirements
- Perform fit/gap analysis and recommend system enhancements
- Provide application support and manage helpdesk requests in line with SLAs
- Support training and knowledge transfer to junior analysts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, including 5 years with JD Edwards (JDE)
- Experience configuring and supporting Distribution modules (Inventory, Sales, Procurement) or Financial modules (GL, AR, AP)
- Bilingual in French and English
- Strong skills in functional analysis, fit/gap assessment, and documentation
- Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong customer focus, attention to detail, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work in a multi stakeholder environment
- CNC experience is an asset
- Knowledge of JDE Orchestrator and JDE development tools is an asset
- Basic to intermediate project management experience

Role Overview
- The Senior Business Applications Analyst plays a key role in configuring, optimizing, and supporting JD Edwards (JDE) based business systems.
- Acting as both a functional and technical expert, this role contributes to delivering robust and scalable business solutions while ensuring alignment between operational needs and system capabilities.
