Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand current and target financial processes
- Identify irritants, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Formulate concrete recommendations for operational efficiency, effectiveness, and standardization
- Strengthen the quality of internal controls and financial information
- Participate in the implementation of approved improvements and evaluate results
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and functional needs from finance teams
- Evaluate accounting and financial impacts of requests and initiatives
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues related to financial processes and systems
- Support end users in adopting and using processes and tools
- Contribute to preparing training materials and associated communications
- Act as Finance representative in cross functional initiatives impacting financial processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance practices and technology solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial processes and/or continuous improvement projects
- Excellent understanding of financial, accounting processes and internal controls
- Demonstrated ability to identify and generate productivity gains
- Interest and ease with financial technology solutions
- Experience with ERP systems Workday and Epicor Prophet 21 (asset)
- Knowledge of distribution environments (asset)
- CPA designation (asset)
- Bilingualism French/English required to communicate with stakeholders across the country

Position Overview
- The Finance function is simultaneously in a phase of solution stabilization, implementation of targeted improvements, and management of multiple initiatives.
- We are looking for a business analyst focused on fundamental financial processes with the clear objective of generating gains in efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- This is a key position within the Finance function, centered on process integrity, operational excellence, and effective use of existing financial systems and tools.
- The business analyst will act as an expert in financial processes to identify, prioritize, and implement improvements.
