About the Position:
The Web Developer plays a critical role in advancing Colorado Public Radio's digital strategy by designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing the digital infrastructure that power CPR’s and Denverite’s websites and other digital products.

Working as part of the Software Engineering team, you’ll write and review code to develop new features, fix bugs, and improve the performance and functionality of our digital products.
You’ll partner with project stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate progress, and address emerging needs, helping ensure CPR’s digital products are reliable, effective and responsive to the needs of our audiences.
The new hire is expected to reside in the greater Denver metro area upon starting - this is not a remote position.
We have a hybrid schedule that requires three days per week (Tues – Thurs) in the office.
You’re a thoughtful problem solver who enjoys digging into technical challenges, understanding what’s causing an issue, and finding practical solutions.
You’re persistent when a problem is complex and know when to keep digging, try a new approach, or ask for help.
You’re curious and open to new tools and technologies, including exploring how AI and emerging tools can make your work more effective.
You’re able to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and use your time well while keeping work moving forward.
