Role Overview

Work as an Analyst within the US Credit Strategy team on time-sensitive research and market deliverables.

Monitor US credit sectors and issuers while tracking catalysts, flows, technicals, fundamentals, and market developments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive research on market, macroeconomic, industry, earnings, and policy developments.
  • Build financial, quantitative, and econometric models for valuation, forecasting, scenario analysis, and credit strategy.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets with Python and other research tools to produce publication-ready outputs.
  • Write client-ready research notes and contribute to thematic and sector publications.
  • Present findings and support strategy discussions, client conversations, conferences, webinars, and investor events.
  • Improve automation, data integrity, reproducibility, and recurring publication processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in research, banking, or another rigorous analytical role, with a strong interest in markets.
  • Strong quantitative or econometric foundation and comfort working with macroeconomic and market data.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, plus coding skills in Python for data and statistical analysis.
  • Strong writing, presentation, organization, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg and familiarity with financial market data sources such as Haver or CEIC.
  • Master’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Additional Capabilities

  • Experience with advanced econometric or statistical techniques, machine learning, or natural language processing is relevant to research workflows.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills are required for publication-quality materials.
  • EViews and VBA may be used where relevant.
