Applies system knowledge of principals to determine malfunctions for a variety of electronics and instrumentation systems at the JRTC
Participates in proactive maintenance program by performing monthly, semi-annual and annual preventitive maintenance checks and services of all assigned systems
Systems include Vehicle Instrumentation Modules (VIMS); Individual Personal Detection Devices (VDD); Overlays; Smart Board Data Interface Modules (SMODIMS); Tablets, Light Utility Helicopter (LUH); SMOTARS and Relay Radios
Performs most services necessary to ensure proper operation of the systems using Test Sets and other testing equipment
Records all PMCS and Repairs in the Management Information System program (AWARE)
Works non-standard work hours, to include weekends and holidays as needed
Reports directly to a Maintenance Manager
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
